Bodrum’s First Local Wine
A passion for wine: it’s the only thing that fully defines the journey of the Yürüt family, which started 20 years ago with homemade wine and continues today with Vinbodrum, a label that boasts a production capacity of 10 tons and 12,000 bottles a year! The vintage from Bodrum and its surrounding region is indispensable for the Vinbodrum team, who abide by a mindset of small-scale and boutique wine production. The grapes are brought to the winery early in the morning, then immediately put through the destemmer and transported to the steel tanks on the lower level of the winery via a fully automated system. To date the Yürüt family has refrained from using heavy wine presses as well as filtering its wine. The Vinbodrum team seeks to improve the quality of their wine day after day while introducing this prized taste of Bodrum to the world at large.
